Channel Seven has turned into a makeshift mothers’ group after five reporters welcomed babies just months apart.
Angie Asimus, Amber Laidler, Sarina Andaloro, Gemma Acton and Natasha Clark have all given birth in the past year.
The most recent was Angie Asimus, who welcomed her daughter Scarlet into the world a week ago.
It is the second child for the reporter and her husband Chris Abbott, who have been together for 14 years and married in 2020.
‘We could all like to have a bit of a community together and share how are we going. We’re all in it together,’ Angie told The Daily Telegraph of the baby crazy newsroom.

The baby boom was well handled by Channel Seven’s management, the women revealed to The Daily Telegraph this weekend.
Amber told the paper: ‘It’s so great having so many women around you that are so supportive and willing to lend an ear or offer some advice when you need it.’
