Demesne Couture, a Pakistani fashion brand, came up with a ‘different’ concept for promoting itself, with a photoshoot featuring a model alongside a toilet seat, but it appeared indigestible to internet users.

Fashion brands are constantly trying to come up with unique and creative branding ideas in order to stand out.

In the same race, Pakistani fashion brand Demesne Couture chose a novel idea in which the male model’s counterpart was not a male but a toilet seat and other washroom items.

She can also be seen sitting on the toilet seat in one of the photos.

According to the brand’s creative designer, the idea behind the photoshoot was to highlight women’s personal space and privacy, which is uncommon.

Despite Demesne Couture’s thoughtful approach, the post received harsh criticism due to the presence of the toilet seat.

People thought the brand’s creative team could have chosen anything to represent women’s privacy and personal space, but they chose a toilet seat.

Following widespread criticism, the brand has removed the post from its Instagram account.
